Borrowing books
Your Library Account
Log in to your library account. No account? Register.
Search online for books, select, request and reserve. Renew your book loans. Books can be collected from the Library or sent by internal mail to your workplace. Return books to the book bin near stairs to cafeteria or near Library entrance. Alternatively return via internal mail to Library, Bryant Education Centre.
You can access your library account on any computer. Get the app (iSoft), ideal for accessing your account on a mobile device.
Alternatively, visit the Library, browse the shelves, and borrow books using your employee ID card. If we don’t have the book ask if we can borrow it from another Library.
As a Te Whatu Ora Waikato employee you can borrow books from the University of Waikato Library and Wintec Library.
Request book or article
If books, chapters or articles are not available please use the online request form in your search results or email the Library to request these. Copy and paste details into an email for accuracy.

Open the app. Choose Library by searching for Waikato DHB. Select.
Enter your Athens login details.

Request a literature search
The Library offers training for individuals or groups, in the Library or at your workplace. Training can involve a brief tour and overview of resources or several hours of advanced training.

Basic EndNote and Zotero training is available, please contact the Library.
Freely available referencing tools include Zotero, Citefast, RefWorks.
Meeting rooms and study facilities
Study carrels with work computers, power points for laptops, WIFI (Public WIFI), printers, scanners, photocopiers, large tables, headphones plus autologin computers for quick reference
Meeting room 1a and 1b may be booked for small groups (approximately 6 to 8 individuals). The rooms can be opened up to make one larger room. Room 1a has a work laptop on a stand. Both rooms have large screens to connect to laptops plus whiteboards.
Book rooms by emailing or phoning the library.
Meeting rooms 2,3 and 4 are managed by the Bryant Education Centre.
Charges and fees
Personal printing and photocopying: 10c/side, cash only.
Scanning: No charge, scan to work email only
A4 lamination: $1/sheet
Damaged or lost books: contact the Library to discuss replacement options
Keep the Library a quiet space, no phone calls in the library please

We welcome recommendations for new books for the Library collection. Please contact the library to discuss any donations of books or journals.
